We made JMK OS because there was a need for an operating system where you do not have to worry about avoiding everything but shareware or freeware or, my favorite, open source software, or not being able to use software you paid for on a storage device and use it on multiple computers. I experience this problem quite frequently, going from my main PC to my server to my laptop. It should (and, it could as demonstrated from JMK OS) be as easy as just putting LibreOffice on a DVD, or Python on a USB, and give it to your friend.

We believe every user, every developer, everyone, should be able to code freely without getting a license to have it posted in any sort of app store, or forcing people to not copy the software, or anything like that. Apps should be freely editable, the source code should be mandatory. It should be easy for any one user to write code, and expect it to work on any device, and on every future version, and on any machine.
